McCabe back for Brumbies
Wallaby back Pat McCabe returns to the Brumbies' line-up at inside centre to tackle the Kings after a five-month lay-off.
A series of injuries, including a small fracture to his neck and a strained hamstring, has kept the 18-times capped international out of action.
Now fully fit, McCabe will fill the number 12 jersey outside Christian Lealiifano who has been named at fly-half. With Lealiifano at 10, Matt Toomua is out of the 22-man squad.
''(Toomua) could have played this week if I really wanted to push him through as he's not injured, as in ruled out. It's more just making sure we get him 100 per cent spot-on going forward,'' said Brumbies coach Jake White.
''I think it's probably a nice game to give (McCabe) a start as well. He's got a nice settled squad around him.
''With Christian at 10 and (McCabe) at 12, they played a lot of rugby last year together when Matt got injured early on so it will be good to see that combination playing together.''
In the forwards, Siliva Siliva has been handed his first starting spot at hooker with champion rake Stephen Moore to start from the bench.
Returning to the starting XV from the bench is Fotu Auelua at number eight, with captain Ben Mowen moving to blindside flanker and Peter Kimlin to lock.
"The Kings have been able to score plenty of points this season and were right with the Hurricanes last week until the last 20 minutes of the game so there's no doubt they'll provide a big test for our team," said Brumbies coach Jake White.
