If the Lions are to lose out then the players might as well play for the Kings. Add them plus those good players not playing S15 rugby at the moment. Here is the Kings side I would select:

15. Paul Jordaan (Sharks)
14. Mjekevu (Sharks)
13. Taute (Lions)
12. Frans Venter (Bulls)
11. Sithole (Sharks)
10. Jantjies (Lions)
9. Hoffman (Sharks)
1. Marcel v/d Merwe (Cheetahs)
2. Maku (Lions)
3. Rossouw de Klerk (Bulls)
4. Paul Willemse (Lions)
5. Quinn Roux (WP)
6. Luke Watson (EP) - for Moz!!!
7. Arno Botha (Bulls)
8. Josh Strauss (Lions)

16. T.Meyer (Lions)
17. Butch James (Lions)
18. Pat Howard (WP)
19. C.Oosthuizen (Lions)
20. Callie Visagie (Lions)
21. JA Marais (Sharks)
22. Rhodes (Lions)

Add other players that should be playing S15 but due to poor selections might not be: Ulrich Beyers, Jan Serfontien, Dries Swanepoel, JP du Plessis, Etienne Oosthuizen, Steph du Toit, Carr, Whiteley

Dave unfortunately by comming through a political back door the queens have earned few friends and I hope they get tanked.

If they offered to play the Lions in a play off they could gain some cred but even then why do they leapfrog the other sides like ahead of them. No this does not was - away with watsons queens.

We all know its a complete disgrace that the pathetic Kings are in the S15, but if they are going to be in, I'd rather watch a competitive side like the one I have chosen than the insult of a side the Kings will select. Its going to be a complete joke - the opposition might as well treat their matches against the KIngs as byes

 Like so many things in south Africa, political interference has now also come to make the game of rugby as rotten as all the other things the c_ANC-er touches. 

This Kings thing will never work because putting a kind of Barbarian team together and calling them the Southern Kings will leave a bitter taste in any real fan’s mouth.  Should this be so, I am sure we will see many  of the SA supporters supporting the teams they play against rather than the Watson-circus.
