Taumalolo

Just a query to thois that might know. Has Taumalolo been capped by Tonga or not, I can't remember if he played for them in the WC as well.

This is probably the first time in history that I can remember that the top try scorer of the Superrugby at this stage has a Prop as the number one for the season. Damn 5 tries in 8 rounds for a loosehead. This guy is defenitely something.

Great player and has a brain. When close to the line, go as low as possible. Find it really irritating that the defenders on the line were not privy to this - he scored with such consummate ease

absolutely, its simple fundamentals.. close to the line, go in low and hard. tuck your head in, pick your spot and go for it! defenders need to put their bodies on the line.. but he is very good at it! 5 tries already proves that!

Wonder how the Chiefs will do against Sharks this weekend? Should be a super game. Wonder if highest try scorer has ever been a prop this far into Superrugby, 10, 12, or 14!!!

fundamental skills for a prop, simple but effective and scores with ease. Good on him.

They sure breed looseheads in Tonga....this lad and Tongawaire (spelling?) of Northampton Saints are pretty bloody awesome. Tongawaire of Saints could possibly be the best loosehead in th game

What is also fundamental is who is defending against who. I have seen backs close to the ruck defending the line. No ways that they can stop the heavies  - they just prevent  a forward from doing his job.
