At 19 he treated international bowlers like they were the starters in the game - what a star he is.  No wonder they say he is the new Gilchrist.   One thing is for sure - he will get a top offer from the Mumbai Indians to play for them in next years IPL - or will be lapped up by one of the other franchises.

When will SA Cricket wake up and pick him for the National Squad and forget about Tsolekile?????

I mean if you look at his last 11 innings... he has scored plenty in all 3 formats.

Scores: 51,4,32,34,194,50,1,7,5,126 and 95

Why not invest in him... even if he goes to Oz as a non playing keeper / batsman and we prime him for 2013... he is without doubt the hottest thing since the emergance of one J Kallis!

Not even Hashim or AB caused such a stir when they came on to the scene!

The kid averages 63 in first class cricket!

Tsolikile has NEVER averaged more than 35 in any format!

Allow me to add - the West Indian and Indian commentators last night said they heard about him before they came here - and he is better even than they were told.   SA Cricket better do something and get him into the Proteas before another country like England or Australia gets hold of him.   It happened in the past - they (SA Cricket) should not make the same mistake again 

Anybody that can hit an Indian spin bowler out of the attack and deals on the same basis with Harbajan Singh and Malinga in the shortened version of the game must really be tops. 

Wonder what Tendulkar said to him after the match - would be very interesting to hear his comments.   

Look forward to seeing him in action. Sounds like he should defintely be going to OZ.  How old is Tsolikile . An average of 35 translates into an average of 25 at test level?

 Beeno, Tsolekile is in his 30's and not really a viable future option. I wholeheartedly agree. Quitin should be going to Oz. Unfortunately the squad has been selected already. 

AB has been picked as the nr1 keeper however, I think Tsolekile might keep as AB's back problems are again acting up and keeping him out of the Champions league.

Tsolekile was tried in 2003 and failed miserably.   His choice for the Aussie tour was probably based on other factors than cricket.   In any event - even in the game on Sunday he missed an easy stuumping opprotunity - that shows he is not up to it anymore. 

 Honestly Mike, I don't have an issue with the Quality of Tsolekile as a wicketkeeper (even the great Kallis makes a mistake every now and then). I do have an issue with his age and I have some questionmarks with regards to the quality of his batting. 

I don't think that we should invets in a keeper that is as old as he is, it just doesn't make sense.

 Guys have to agree on young De Kock...the SA selectors should get him into the cricket squad pronto.

Question on Tsolekile...does he represent EP at cricket by any chance.
